Your workers need to know about their workplace rights. You have the responsibility to inform your workers of their rights by providing notices and/or posting them in the workplace. The U.S. Department of Labor provides free electronic copies of all required notices and posters, and many are available in multiple languages. You do not have to pay for Labor Department posters.

It is important to note that not all employers are covered by all laws administered by the Labor Department and may not be required to display certain posters. For example, some small businesses aren’t covered by the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and aren’t required to display its associated poster, because it applies only to employers with a certain number of employees within a certain area.
